Dynamic Analysis of the Frame Structure under Torsional Seismic Waves
Three-dimensional analytical model of regular and irregular rectangle column framework structure were established respectively in finite element analysis software. Torsional seismic waves as well as translational seismic waves were input separately into each structure system to make nonlinear Timehistory analysis. The differences of aseismatic capacity of the frame structure were analyzed by analyzing the period, displacement of different structures under the action of the seismic waves. Then a basis can be provided to improve the aseismatic performance of the structural design for the special-shaped columns.
