Effect Analysis of Double-O-Tube Shield Tunnel Crossing Masonry Structure Building with 45°

Considering the interaction of building—soil tunnel, the masonry building with grillage beams foundation 45 degree crossed by Double-O-Tube(DOT) shield tunnel was simulated by 3D MIDAS/GTS software, and the impact of construction on the building was analyzed. The additional settlement and force of structure caused by tunnel construction were analyzed, and the changes of axis distance between building and shield tunnel were considered. The results show that: during the passage of the DOT shield tunneling through the building, the nonuniform settlement of building produced in the horizontal, the building was oblique and the settlement of the rear was beyond the front. Settlement was stable and had a little rebound when shield machine already passed the building. Longitudinal differential settlement increased first and then decreased, and the building produced a permanent distortion. With the increase of axis distance between building and tunnel, the building tended towards to tunnel side, the local foundation tilt increased first and then decreased. The first principal stress Pi and maximum shear strain were changed roughly the same, increased first and then linearly decreased.
