Finite Element Analysis for Honeycomb Component under compression and bending
This paper mainly conduct a finite element analysis on the hexagonal hole honeycomb steel column with its expansion ratio of 1.4 and the original solid web steel column before expanded under bending condition. Through eigenvalue buckling analysis and nonlinear buckling analysis, the ultimate bearing capacity of each bending component are obtained, by comparing the results, it indicates that the expanded component has an obvious advantage.
