Influence of deep-layer QPQ Treatment Parameter on the Layer Microstructure of 35CrMo
The study on the effect of thickness and hardness of 35CrMo steel layer, which is treated by different deep-layer Quench-Polish-Quench complex salt bath process(deep-layer QPQ) parameter including nitrided time and nitrided temperature. The results show that the nitrided surface consists of compound layer, diffusion layer and middle layer. Obviously, with the increasing of nitrided temperature, the. thickness of the layer will be thicker. At the same time, it can make the porousness of compound layer growing. With the extending of nitriding time, the depth of the layer thickness can be exacerbated slowly. And the porousness of compound layer is also growing up. But the extension of the time can advance the surface hardness increasing.
