Issues and Improvements for Signage System of Chinese Subway Stations
To accommodate the significant growth of urbanization and transportation in China and prepare for the imminent era of the subway mode of public transportation, researches on the signage system of urban subway stations are urgently needed. The current subway stations signage system has various issues, which directly impact the safety of peoples travel, the quality of urban planning, metropolitan landscapes and even the establishment of the harmonious society. This article attempts to analyze and summarize the main issues and suggests some improvement ideas, and it aims to provide more bases to improve the overall level of signage system of Chinese subway stations.
