Numerical study on optical solitons transmission system with 40Gbit/s in the photonic crystal fiber
The 40Gbit/s optical solitons transmission system was investigated and simulated numerical by fast Fourier transform method in the photonic crystal fiber. The maximum transmission distance of the system was calculated numerical. The results have show that when Dp < 1ps / √-km the influence of the PMD on the transmission distance was very small. When D > 1.5ps ∣ km ∣ nm the transmission distance went down rapidly. The positive or negative of three order group-velocity dispersion affected faintly on the system transmission.
