Research and Thinking on Phase-Change Material and its Energy Storage Structure Design Applied in the Building
Phase-Change Material is a kind of high energy conversation substance. Effectively placing the phase change materials into building construction has very practical significance in building energy-saving. In this paper the phase change materials characteristics and classification are described in brief at first and the mechanism of energy storage is presented. Four placement methods-directly joining into PCM, vacuum impregnation, micro-encapsulated PCM and amorphous melt blending method are explained in detail. At meantime, the testing methods and application of PCM are discussed simply. At last, the further research directions are pointed out.
