Research on the Inheritance of National Style of Contemporary Japanese Architecture
In Asia, the development of the contemporary architecture in Japan has been far beyond that of any other country and is in the forefront of the world. The key reason for its great success is Japan pay much attention to the inheritance of its national style. The native national style of timber frames in ancient Japan is the style in Jomon Period and Yayoi Period, which has become an orthodox national style of Japan. And this style is evolving into the national aesthetic standards of delicacy, lightness, pureness, simplicity and innocence in the contemporary creations of architecture.
