Risk Analysis of Embankment Stability during Reclamation Period

The stability of road embankment is influenced by numerous uncertainty factors. Based on MC theory and finite element method, the paper proposed a new embankment stability risk analysis method. First, statistical characteristics and probability distribution of main factors are studied. Then, associated with the influencing factors feature and their relation, equations which can calculate stability risk rate and corrected safety factor are established. Finally, the feasibility of stability risk estimation method is verified by Foshan firstring road project during its reclamation period.
