Study on the Characteristics of Diseases and Thaw Settlement of G214 Highway in Permafrost Regions

On the basis of field survey, numerical simulation, ground temperature monitoring and other methods, the thesis aims for analysis on permafrost characteristics and roadbed disease along G214 highway. Firstly, making an investigation on roadbed disease along G214 highway by means of field survey, and the result shows that: the roadway disease type and degree are connected with roadway type, frozen soil type and roadbed height. Secondly, in terms of field survey and survey data, making discussion and analysis on the cause of formation of roadway disease along G214 highway, and the result shows: the roadway disease is mainly caused by uneven settlement of roadbed. Finally, through deformation analysis after actual measurement on G214 highway, there is a longitudinal critical settlement value discovered on cement concrete pavement with its width of 8.5m in a distance of 3.0m away from the highway center, and on plain concrete pavement it is 3.0-4.5cm away, while on reinforced concrete pavement it is 4.5-S.2cm.
