The Historical Reflection of Chinese and Western Paintings and the Discussion of the similarities and the differences between them
According to the historical reflection of Chinese and Western paintings, this paper has demonstrated that the most fundamental reason of the similarities and the differences of Chinese and Western paintings lies in the cultural differences and similarities from the perspectives of historiography and culturology. At the same time, the view that the highest state of painting is a cultural expression has been also proposed in this paper, which has opened the door of peoples artistic mind and provided the reference for the people with relevant professions.
