The Impact of Wind Power on the Grid and its Coimtermeasures
the wind is a kind of huge potential renewable green energy. No matter whether it is in the developing or developed countries, there are great efforts to develop the wind power, whose growth, however, is blocked by the difficulty in the wind power Paralleling in the grid. This paper discusses the adverse influences of the wind power on the power grid, such as its detrimental effects on the power quality, system stability, power generation forecasting and etc, mainly caused by the uncontrollability and unpredictability of the natural wind, and analyzes some specific countermeasures to solve these problems.
