The improved cycle method and implementation of digital chaotic sequence generator
Chaos has good statistical characteristics and is sensitive with initial value which is appropriate for encryption communication system. Because digital chaos is conducted under the condition of finite precision, it will lead to the degradation of chaotic systems and the output sequence will appear periodicity which is bad for encryption system. In this paper, an improvement for the short period of digital chaotic sequence was proposed and a new type of digital chaotic sequence generator was designed based on FPGA. Theoretical certification and experimental data show that this new cycle of the system output sequence can be set according to encryption necessary which remedies the short-period phenomenon of digital chaos, and digital chaotic sequence generator is safe to be applied to the encryption system.
