The layer-increasing selection and structure analysis for certain concrete businessliving building (five added to twenty layers)
The business-living building in Shanxi province that by adding layers the existed structure with five stories became high-rising building with twenty stories is one of most typical reinforcement concrete layer-added project in China. By means of the finite element analysis software-MIDAS, the author discussed in-detail about its foundation reinforced, the alternatives of two different add-layer programs and its damping ratio. In the end considering the available of technology the final added-layer structure program was determined. The analysis and design of the project will provide certain references for the similar projects in future.
