A Novel Suboptimal Multiple Input Multiple Output Detection Algorithm With Reduced Complexity
In MI,MO communication systems, if M-nary digital modulation is applied, then the demodulator endures exponential growth complexity when using conventional ML detector. Conventional Zero Forcing(or ZF)/MMSE detectors can reduce the computation, but they are not at all optimal. ZF detector brings the noiseenhancement problem, while MMSE is just a compromise between eliminating interference betweens antennas and enhanced background noise. A new method is proposed which computes the condition numbers of the column-deleted channel matrices, and chooses the matrix with the smallest number to detect symbols. And the computation complexity can be much lower than ML-detector. The Simulation result demonstrates suboptimal performance with reduced complexity.
