Calculation and Analysis of Parallel Cut Effect for Tunnels Excavation by Blasting
The parallel cut is a key technique for excavation of tunnels. Based on the theoretical analysis and the field test, through an approach to the mechanism of spiral cutting with big empty hole, the model of cut blasting effect was established. The influence of the big empty hole diameter, the blast hole depth, the hole spacing between blasting hole and empty hole and the blasting effect were quantitatively. The analysis results are in line with the engineering practice. This study will enrich the tunnel blasting theory and play an important role in guiding the excavation blasting construction of the tunnel project.
