Evaluating the Residual Fatiguelife of Steel Truss Bridge Based on Monitoring Data
The stress spectrums are obtained from the stress history of monitored members for a steel truss bridge through rain-now algorithm firstly, then the distribution functions and their characteristic parameters of stress spectrums are investigated to simulate the stress spectrums numerically through Monte Carlo method, which used to evaluate the structural fatigue residuallife through a stress probabilistic model and Miner cumulative damage theory, and the members fatiguelives and the vulnerable segments of whole bridge are provided , which is important for the strategy of bridge management.
