Experimental Study on the Flexural Capacity of Existed RC Beams Strengthened with CFRP
Experiment was carried out on the cross section flexural capacity of 7 RC beams subjected to twiceloading strengthened with CFRP. According to the limit equilibrium theory, regression formulas for the ultimate capacity of RC bending members strengthened with CFRP were obtained. The theory calculations are in good agreement with experimental results. The study can supply theoretical foundation and technical support for the engineering application of RC bending members strengthened with CFRP.
