Numerical displacement simulation for pit excavating process of diaphragm wall using ADINA
In light of the diaphragm wall excavation process for foundation anchorage of Runyang Bridge, 3-D FEM model based on ADINA software was established to simulate the continuous excavation of the diaphragm wall. The horizontal displacement of the diaphragm wall during the excavation process was simulated^and compared with the monitoring results. Besides, the influencing factors were also analyzed. The results showed that the ADINA software and the 3-D FEM model could simulate the pit excavating process and its displacement accurately.
