Research of support vector machine algorithm and application

摘要：

Support vector machine, as a stable learning algorithm, is a hot research Point in the field of machine learning, data mining etc. This article bring forward a novel support vector machine algorithm: soft core vector machine algorithm (SCVM), which is successfully applied in both the intrusion detection experiment on KDDCUP-99 intrusion detection data and handwritten digits recognition experiment on USPS Digits Data set. The results of experiments show that both classification accuracy and implement speed of SCVM algorithm are beyond the other SVM algorithms.
