Research on Analysis and Control of Traffic Noise in Zhengzhou Typical Urban Road
With the acceleration of urbanization and the increasing intensification of human and buildings in urban city, noise has a growing serious impact on human health and it also becomes a significant urban environmental problem. As the most important source of urban noise, traffic noise severely influences our living environment and depresses our living standard. Based on the in situ measurements of vehicle flow and traffic noise in second ring typical road of Zhengzhou, this study makes statistics and analysis on the whole noise pollution, noise rating and noise spatial distribution characteristics. To abate the traffic noise pollution, it should focus on comprehensive controlling and prevention measures such as adopting porous low-noisy asphalt road, setting sound barriers, cultivating roadside greenbelts and so on.
