Strength Properties of Cement Silt Soil and Damage Mechanics Model
Combined with foundation reinforcement technology of silt soil in a highway project, through the unconfined compression test data, then strength characteristics of cement silt soil with different mixing cement ratio and different age periods as well as the stress-strain relationships are discussed. The test results shown that the cement ratio is higher, the unconfined compressive strength of the same age is higher, the age is longer, the unconfined compressive strength with the same cement ratio is higher. The internal cement silt soil exist nonuniform and local defects, and the stress-strain relationship was significantly nonlinear.Based on the theory of damage mechanics, cement silt soil damage constitutive model and damage evolution equations are deduced. Different cement ratio of cement silt soil stress-strain curves are obtained by that model. It is proved that damage constitutive model is closer to stress-strain curve of unconfined compression test, and reflects the cement silt soil stress-strain characteristics. The proposed computational model supplies theoretical basis for the silt foundation reinforcement design and construction plan.
