The Damping Ratio and Stress and Strain Hysteresis on Strengthening Column Analysis of Storey-adding Structure
Damping ratio has an important influence on structural vibration. Damping ratio for adding storeys structure, is still being studied. Through one example of storey-adding engineering, combined with strain energy damping calculation method, this paper discusses the influence of damping ratio on the storey-adding structure.In strengthening project without unloading, because concrete component has very big primary stress, there is always stress and strain hysteresis between the old and new parts. By the ANSYS software,this paper analyzes the column strengthening with Reinforced Concrete(R.C) and puts forward more attention should be paid to shear problem on the combination of the old and new parts in the project design.
