A Fire Detecting And Rescue Supporting System With IOT For Large Buildings

The implement of IOT(Internet of things) technology into the fire detection in large buildings can find hidden danger, receive alarms in the early stage of fire calamity, and acquire real-time information. While the RFID technology can be applied to determining the location of RFID tags, the system use the RFID technology to confirm the position of people who carry RFID tags .This paper is theoretically based on various layers of IOT, and integrate WSN with RFID to detect fire and rescue people indoor. The bottom layer of the system consists of wireless sensor nodes based on RFID. The middle layer of the system uses ZigBee self-compositing network to link the nodes to form up a wireless network. The upper layer uses computers to receive and process the information to reflect fire condition and location of each people. Therefore this system is capable of providing information of the building more directly for the administrators and supporting rescue, which can be an appropriate choice in situations where monitoring and rescuing is needed.
