Application Development Of Highway Intersection CAD System
In order to achieve automation design of highway intersection, the paper combined the design custom of intersection, by using Visual Basic language, ActiveX automation interface, the OOP technology and developing AutoCAD, the paper has developed Highway Intersection CAD System, the system not only can achieve the horizontal design and the vertical design of three-legs and four-legs intersection at the tangent section and the curved section, but also can calculate earthwork based on Digital Terrain Model. Application results indicate that this system has characteristics such as more adaptability, expansibility and easier maintenance, additionally; it can effectively improve the efficiency of highway intersection design and quality.
