Application of Dynamic Reflection and Transmission Model to Stability Analysis of Layered Rock Slopes
The study focuses on a longitudinal wave (P-wave) transmission normally across a single joint of rock slope. In order to obtain the theoretical simulation of rock slopes with seismic waves across the joint, the dynamic seismic wave propagation model is developed based on the theory of elastic wave motion. The proposed method can be extended to analyze the dynamic response of other declining joints models and incident waves with arbitrary waveforms.
