Model Test on Subgrade with Sandy Phyllite

In this paper, authors use identical materials for simulation test to analyze mechanism of constructing subgrade with sandy phyllite in the passenger transport railway from Changsha to Hengyang. By controlling the most important parameters of subgrade stability: moisture content and grain size distribution, we analyze the change on the effect on the subgrade settlement The results show that the subgrade with sandy Phyllite is feasible, and it puts forward to the engineering measures and requirements.
