Numerical Analysis of Deep Foundation Pit Considering Coupled Hydromechanical Effects
Deep foundation pit in the vicinity of downtown business district becomes inevitable as an increasing number of high-rise buildings and underground projects such as subway system, underground shopping mall and parking lot are under construction in order to meet peoples demands. Based on the popular finite analyzing software ABAQUS, coupled analysis of hydromechanical effects is utilized in this paper to simulate and analyze the deep foundation pit of the subway station at Zhujiang Road. It calculates the uplift amount of excavation face and surrounding ground settlement, figures out the rules of deformation in the process of dewatering and excavation of deep foundation pit as well. By comparison, the results of the simulation indicate that the FEM calculation values were in good agreement with the monitoring values.
