Review of Main Study on Intra-county Urbanization
Developing and expanding intra-county economies and accelerating the process of Chinas intra-county urbanization is of important strategic and realistic significance in expanding domestic demand, balancing urban and rural development, solving the problems of villagers, countryside and agriculture, and building a harmonious society comprehensively. This paper begins with the concept related to infra-county and discusses the main results of infra-county urbanization, including studying the concept and characteristics of infra-county urbanization, the comprehensive evaluation and spatial difference of intra-county urbanization, the influencing factors and developing mechanism of infra-county urbanization, the spatial structure and urban and rural spatial layout of infra-county urbanization, and the planning and transformation of intra-county, and some other related studies on infra-county urbanization. The existing limitations of study mainly reflects in: the insufficient concern on infra-county in studying Chinas urbanization, the lack of studying the systematicity, categorization and difference of infra-county urbanization, the theoretical flaws of rural and urban regional structure of infra-county with Chinese characteristics, etc.
