Stability Evaluation and Control Design of Banyan Mountain Unstable Rock Mass
Banyan Mountain unstable rock is one of the major natural disaster prevention project in Hubei Province, its deformation recently intensified, and dilapidation and landslide may occur at any time, so the evaluation and optimization design on phase Ⅱ unstable rock were developed. Considering various load situation, unstable rock body stability was evaluated by transfer coefficient method. To control No. Ⅱ w and No.Ⅲ w unstable rock body, explosion cutting and anti-rockfall engineering were carried on after site exploration and line-laying several times. The cutting slope ratio was calculated, the slope stability after cutting was checking, and shotcrete bolting was set to protect cutting-off slope facedes. Rockfall barrier soil dam was layout and designed in cutting site protection area to intercept rockfall from hazard rock slope and blasting. At the same time, chute systems, transport platforms and a simple construction road to mountaintop were designed to transport cutting-off rocks and mechanism equipments. Actual Engineering control effect is good, it can provide reference for later monitoring and similar project management.
