The Traditional Characteristics and Modern Enlightenment of Bridge Settling Spaces

摘要：

The wide use of automobiles in the modern society has made most of the urban bridges gradually changing into the fast lanes connecting riversides. The lingering function of bridge which belongs to the public open space weakens. Studying on the traditional characteristics of bridge settling spaces from three aspects of general city space, bridge connecting space and main space can provide the enlightenments for modern development.
