The Young Tibetans Craniofacial 3D Reconstruction Research Based on CT and RE

In recent years, the research on computer-assisted craniofacial 3D (three-dimensional) reconstruction technology has been the hot spot in international informatics, anthropology, forensic and other related fields. Taking the regional advantages of TUFN, this paper collects craniofacial data of Tibetan volunteers firstly. Then through adopting spiral CT scanning as the method of collecting data, taking the CT image as the basic input, as well as applying RE technology, this paper achieves image registration, image segmentation and so on by pre-procession of image, Besides, this paper realizes the 3D modeling reconstruction by extracting the images contour, in addition, this paper offers point cloud data for the further study. It is of certain significance for the study of Tibetan craniofacial morphology.
