Fractional Order Grey Model and Its Application in Settlement Prediction
There exists widely soft soils in the coastal cities of our country, it is vital to predict the settlement of embankment. At present, the bigger difference is existed between actual measurement results and the prediction ones which adopted the usual engineering settlement prediction algorithms. In the paper, an improved grey model, which use fractional derivatives to replace the integer ones, is suggested, and there are two difficult parts: 1. the difficulty of parameters identification is largely added with the advent of the order of additional fractional order. 2. the transfer function mode is usually utilized to express the fractional order when the fractional derivatives are replaced by an integer order approximately, and the system input is needed, otherwise, the ordinary differential equation is used in grey model. Aimed at above two problems, an parameter identification algorithm is presented by theoretic deduction. In the last, an engineering example is used to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method.
