A Practice to Improve Pragmatic Competence Through Online Tools
A practice based on online tools described in this article presents an effective and efficient way for improving pragmatic competence during the process of foreign language learning. The article first makes a detailed analysis, from the advantages over paper copies available, of online dictionaries and search tools, and then provides the corresponding scientific method for crosscheck through qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results confirm that based on the improvement of language fluency, professional knowledge and technical skills of foreign language learners, online dictionaries and search tools are the top two online tools to improve their pragmatic competence.
