Assessment and Analysis of Undergraduate Education in Safety Engineering and Technology Speciality Based on SVM
This paper is concerned with the problem of applying support vector machine (SVM) in the effective assessment for undergraduate education in safety engineering and technology speciality. By using the SVM theory, an assessment model is developed, firstly. Based on this model, we can obtain the effective assessing results, which can be used to direct the decision-maker to make the right decision. Finally, simulating results are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed theorems.
