On Application of Blog in College English Teaching
With the fast development of information technology, blog, as a kind of communication tool, has a great effect on peoples learning and life. The application and popularity of blog has offered a new tool and platform for reform in college English teaching. The use of English blog can enhance the quality of teachers and improve teaching effectiveness. The blog is bringing vitality for college English teaching, which makes language acquisition process-oriented and learner-centered, and provides a good learning environment for students. This paper is about blog supports for issues, strategies and designs of listening, speaking, reading and writing on college English teaching. This study is based on learning theories of modern linguistics, using functions of blog technology and made strategies and designs for college English learning and teaching. It will be found that the strategies and designs may help the college students to raise interests and levels of English listening, speaking, reading and writing.
