Teacher Talk Analysis in Non-English Major Classroom of University
This study carries out a survey on teacher talk in non-English major classrooms of university through classroom observation, tape recording and questionnaire survey, focusing on its formal features and functional features respectively in four dimensions — amount, questions, modifications as well as feedbacks. And the paper that aims at cultivating learners communicative ability will present some suggestions and ideas for a further implication of better English teacher talk in the long term.
