The Inspiration of SNS on the English Teaching Program for Senior High Schools in China
New Senior English for China (NSEFC) is a programmatic document established by the Ministry of Education in 2003, to direct the teaching of English in middle schools and meet the needs of the society. Nevertheless, some inherent limitations of current teaching mode make it difficult for its implementation. With the introduction to SNS (Social Networking Services) as well as the elaboration of its characteristics and application in the teaching program, this thesis analyzes the function and benefit of SNS in the teaching process and teaching evaluation system. This thesis also holds that the application of SNS will help to carry out the new program for the teaching of English in senior high schools in China.
