On the Self-development of College English Teachers in Multimedia-aided Teaching Environment
The application of multimedia technology in college English teaching arouses a huge challenge to college English teachers. How to promote the self-development of college English teachers in multimedia environment will determine the success of the college English course reform. This paper first uses a questionaire based on teachers professional qualities to analyze the existing problems in the self-development of college English teachers in multimedia environment. And then it puts forward four effective ways to promote college English teachers self-development in order to meet the requirements of college English course reform, including enhancing the study of professional and interdisciplinary knowledge, mastering the latest educational and information technology and improving the teaching ability.
