Study on proportional-derivative controller for a class of chaotic financial systems

The problem of control of a class of chaotic financial systems is studied by proportional derivative controller (PDC) in the paper. With dynamical analysis, the method is not difficult to implement, and achieve two targets of the chaos control: First, it can stabilize the unstable periodic orbits embedded in the chaotic attractor. Second, it can also generate some new stable periodic orbits of the system. The results of a typical control of the system are given by theoretical analysis. Meantime, numerical simulations certify the validity of the conclusions.
