Radio Resource Management Scheme for Integrated Services with Prioritized Strategy
In this paper,a prioritized radio resource allocation scheme is studied and analyzed for integrated services in terms of the connection-level QoS. The contributions of our work are threefold. First,a traffic model based on multi-dimensional Markov chain is developed to analyze the performance of integrated services. Second,considering the traffic characteristic of mobile users in different period,a radio resource allocation scheme combined with prioritized strategies is developed. And third,to improve system performance of diverse services,a couple of channels are reserved for different type of services considering their traffic characteristics. Simulation results are also provided for demonstrating that the proposed scheme can improve the system performance.
