Stochastic Simulation of P-Ⅲ Distribution Based on Microsoft Office Web Components

According to the disadvantages existing in the current methods of simulating Pearson type Ⅲ distribution, a direct sampling method based on Microsoft Office Web Components was proposed. By calling the functions of the Spreadsheet control, the high-precision direct sampling simulation of Pearson type Ⅲ distribution was achieved. With the ChartSpace control as a container to the charts, the histogram of the random series can be contrasted with the theoretical density curve of Pearson type Ⅲ distribution visually. Simulation results show that this method has the merits such as high precision, no limit on the size of skewness coefficient (Cs), etc. and is worth popularizing.
