Design of h∞ Robust Control for Shunt Active Power Filter based on the mixed sensitivity method

To aim at the characteristic of APF subject to external interference and at model uncertainty, a H∞ robust controller has been designed for the active power filter model based on the mixed sensitivity method, which is derived from H∞ control theory. We carried out several studies which have demonstrated that the H∞ controller is independent on the plant mode and the effect from the system uncertainty and disturbance can be greatly eliminated by the controller , And thus can ensure both the internal stability and the robustness of the system. The digital simulation can prove the performance of the controller by MATLAB.
