A Research on Rural Sports Development Pattern in Ethnic Minority District of Guizhou Province Under the Background of the Twelfth Five-Year-Plan
Under the background of the twelfth five-year-plan, some researches have been implemented on the development pattern of rural sports in Guizhous ethnic minority areas by means of documentary, questionnaire, expert interviews, statistics, field survey and many other research methods. Results show that rural areas of Guizhou are still lack of the sports venues and facilities, fanner income is on the low side, community-based sports management is inadequate, theres ubiquitous lack of sports consumption concept and awareness of physical exercise, the proportion of athletic people is small and farmers sports activities time is mostly focused on major festivals etc. Thus considering Guizhous practical situation, it is necessary to seek for a development road that fits the province thereof. Moreover a development road which combines rural sports, ethnic culture and tourism industry is highly suggested. Only by making the three aspects promote and enhance each other shall the sustainable development of Guizhou be ultimately realized.
