Color Image Encryption and Decryption Using Multiplex Approach

We propose the encryption of color images using two security levels scheme. The image to be encrypted is first segregated into three color channels: red,green and blue. In the first level,these channel images are multiplexed with a selected key-image using a set of iterative Fourier transformations. In the second level,a classical double random phase encoding is used to encode the above obtained image. The algorithms to implement the proposed encryption and decryption are outlined,and results of computer simulation are described that show the possibility of the proposed scheme.
