Performance Analysis of DGL/IMM Algorithm against Randomly Maneuvering Targets
Based on the linear assumptions,a discussion of the performance of endgame guidance law and estimator is addressed. In the interception scenario that has been investigated, the TBM war-head performs a random bangbang maneuver, while the pursuer (interceptor) has noisy measurements and acceleration bound. A new algorithm is presented, combining differential game guidance law with interacting multiple model estimator (DGL/IMM algorithm). Compared with the MMAE method used before, the computational load is greatly reduced, requiring only two elemental filters (seven filters required by fast MMAE). On the other hand,DGL/IMM algorithm also improves homing performance. A good deal of Monte Carlo simulations has been run,and the simulation results are fully analyzed. It indicates the great superiority of the algorithm.
