Study on Ternary Optical Computer

摘要：

The fundamental principle of Ternary Optical Computer (TOC) is to using vertical polarization light,horizontal polarization light and no light to express three values,and to using physical components to realize the transformation among these three values. After over a decades efforts rich accomplishments have been made in the TOC field. This article gives a deep analysis and summary on TOC. Firstly it introduces the structure of TOC,then illustrates the research fruits and finally describes the future research direction.
