3D Face Modeling Research Based on Deformation Model

In order to solve the problem of low efficiency in the traditional 3D face modeling,an efficient and simple method for 3D face modeling is proposed in this paper. First,a general face model is built from the modeling software,using an improved algorithm based on sub-regional difference,a specific face model is obtained from the general face model by contour transformation;followed by a full-view face texture generated by a new image stitching algorithm;Finally,the full-view face texture is mapped on to the specific face model. Experimental results show that the complexity of this modeling method is relatively lower,the processing time is shortened,and the quality of modeling results is significantly improved.
