Research on Stripe Noise Reduction for MODIS Images

摘要：

Stripe noise is one of the most important factors which influence the qualities of the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectrometer (MODIS) images. To remove the stripe noise,a positioning method of stripe noise was presented according to MODIS remote sensing mode of multi-pixel parallel scanning. The statistical rules of stripe noise of MODIS images were analyzed. The weighted interpolation method based on spatial domain was studied which could eliminate the stripe noise and improve the imaging quality efficiently.
