Image Super-Resolution system Using fixed Subpixel Shift Detectors

Super-resolution (SR) image reconstruction algorithms can enhance the resolution of the image by fusing a set of observation of the same scene. However,the registration problem and blur effects limit the quality of SR algorithms. A new high resolution (HR) imaging system is proposed. Based on the optical design,the imaging system provides many observations with fixed shift motion of the same scene. So it resolves registration problem occurred often in the SR image reconstruction algorithm. This paper gives the analysis of imaging resolution and the design model of the new HR imaging system. The simulation experiments validate the effectiveness of this new imaging system.
